Najat Vallaud Belkacem, French socialist politician was the first woman to be appointed as France Minister of Education, Higher Education and Research and is one of the Names of Famous People.
Born in the Moroccan Countryside on 4th October 1977, she was graduated from “Paris Institute of Political Studies”.
She was initially a Shepherd Girl in her childhood days, where she transformed herself to the political career.
She started her career by joining in the Socialist party (2002) to strengthen local democracy, which is the fight against discrimination, accessing employment and promotion of citizen rights.
In 2005, she became the adviser to a Socialist party.
Later in 2007, she joined Segolene Royal’s Campaign as a spokeswoman.
On May 2012, she was appointed to French President’s Cabinet Minister of Women’s Rights and spokeswoman for the government.
She has supported French Government force in speech related to homophobic and also same sex marriage in France, where she states that legalization is a matter of “historic progress”.
And she describes herself being a “non-practicing Muslim”.
